Innovating the Transportation of Energy

The first product Novel will bring to market will be API-certified Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe (RTP) . Using the market leading, non-metallic product development of Novel’s shareholder, Baker Hughes, these composite products are resistant to pressure, heat, corrosion, are non-conductive, have a high tensile strength and fewer points of weakness, are available in variable diameters, and can transport Oil/Gas/water at higher temperatures and pressures than any other non-metallic pipelines on the market.

Unlike steel piping, RTPs are flexible and spoolable, which eliminates the need for side booms and expansion loops, and facilitates any ground movement. It can absorb shocks better than steel piping and is also, of course, far lighter. These characteristics result in less installation impact on the environment and a notable reduction in transport needs and costs.

Currently, the majority of RTP is imported into the MENA region. By using our locally manufactured RTP, our local customers will experience a reduction in their carbon footprint, as well as improved corrosion, cost life management, life cycle management, a significant reduction in system costs, and enhanced safety integrity and reliability.

Our Commitment to You and the Planet

As an energy technology company, Novel Non-Metallic Solutions is dedicated to continually and collaboratively advancing our technology, so that our target industries can operate at less cost to the environment.

We are delivering a smarter, sustainable trajectory for the energy transition, economic continuation and environmental synthesis:
  • An alternative pipeline/conduit network of greater capacity and resilience.
  • Significantly reducing your exposure to risk from rupture and hazardous incidents or loss of productivity/material wastage.
  • Delivering innovative industrial components of superior performance and lighter weight.
  • Delivering composite non-metallic products that reduce carbon footprint, maintenance, potential points of failure and ultimately costs borne by customers, consumers and the planet.
